Maya
MAYA is a design tool by Mana Siyo. You describe a garment, MAYA renders visions of it, and if you submit a design, Mana Siyo can make the real garment. By creating an account or using MAYA you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use MAYA.
You sign in with a Google account and you are responsible for what happens under it. You must be 16 or older. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service.
What you make and upload stays yours. You give Mana Siyo the permission needed to store it, process it, show it back to you, and produce the garment you ask for. You must have the right to anything you upload, and the permission of any real person whose photograph you attach.
MAYA is an AI system, and using it means interacting with one. The renders, the design writing, the transcripts of what you say and the summaries you read are produced by artificial intelligence models from OpenAI and Google, running under Mana Siyo's own accounts. Every garment picture MAYA shows you is AI generated unless it is a photograph you uploaded yourself, and illustrative fabric pictures are labeled Generated. Generated pictures carry the machine readable provenance marks their models embed, so they can be recognized as AI made.
AI can be wrong. Renders are visualizations, not measurements, medical or fit advice, or promises of the finished garment, and you should not rely on them as anything else. This disclosure is made in the spirit of the transparency rules for AI systems, including the EU AI Act and California's AI transparency law.
If you attach a photograph of a face, MAYA uses it for exactly one thing: rendering the garment on that person, for you. It is sent to our AI providers only to produce the picture you asked for. MAYA does not run facial recognition, does not build or keep any scan of face geometry or other biometric identifier, does not use the photograph to identify anyone, and never sells or shares it for advertising. It never appears on the community wall. Replace or remove the photograph, or delete your account, and it is deleted; a person in a photograph can also write to us and have it removed. You must have the permission of any real person whose photograph you attach, and you may not use MAYA to depict a real person deceptively.
This is the one rule to actually read. When you heart a garment MAYA generated, that picture is published to the community wall, where every signed in MAYA user can see it, with your first name and the garment's one line description. Take the heart away and the post comes down. Only garments MAYA rendered are ever published: your uploaded pictures, fabric photographs and face photographs never appear on the wall.
MAYA's pictures are AI generated visualizations, not photographs and not promises: the sewn garment is made by people and can differ from a render. Submitting a design starts a conversation with the atelier; prices, fit sessions and delivery are agreed there, not in the app. Tips are voluntary and processed by Stripe.
Do not use MAYA to make unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit imagery of real people, to infringe someone's rights, to harvest data, or to probe or overload the service. We can remove content and close accounts over this.
MAYA is provided as it is, without warranties. It is a young service; features change and sometimes things break. To the extent the law allows, Mana Siyo's liability for any claim about the app is limited to one hundred dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the new version appears here with a new date, and MAYA will ask you to agree again at sign in. These terms are governed by the laws of California, and disputes belong in the courts of San Francisco.
